Compatible with USB 1.1 (“Full Speed”, 12Mbit/s). This speed has been chosen rather than the faster USB2.0 to allow us to more heavily filter the USB lines resulting in a cleaner signal.
Note: USB 3.0 and 2.0 sources will often default to Full Speed and may still work with this device – please check your handbook.
Requires 5V D.C. power supply at 250mA (NOT supplied). A cable is provided for 5.5/2.1mm D.C. jack power supplies and for use with a Standard USB power supply.
For best performance, APEX recommends using one of our Ultra-Low Noise D.C. supplies such as the 5V 1A PSU.
